September Colour

These photos were taken in the order they are presented during the last week. Sorry, absolute busy-ness means putting them all into one post.

Another week of visitors and weeding. Here is a weekly medley. Am making a serious attempts to clear the various jungles.
Emptying the compost bin - actually a leaky water butt. Worms produce a high quality compost.
The jungle: bindweed rampant - all now removed, sorry conservationists.

The damp has caused a few problems on the pear tree which has cropped well.
Two shots of a hibiscus in flower

Japanese anenome looks beautiful at the moment but is actually invasive and vary hard to irradicate.
Sweet peas though not done very well add scent to this part of the garded

Nice mix of cosmos and everlasting pea
 Crinodendron flower

 Catmint, nepeta, with clematis behind

 Lathyrus odoratus, the sweet pea.
Geranium pyranaeum is a bit of a weed now!
This purple toadflax (linaria) is a beauty
Finally, a potentilla friuticosa, Day Dawn maybe.
